CUTTER You can print
these pages on card stock or if you prefer, acid
free papers from your office or craft supply
store.Punch your holes according to the rings in
your binder.*TIP You should make a "pattern page"
to go by,when punching your pages. This keeps all
pages uniform.*TIP Putting reinforcements on your
pages adds life to the book. It's time consuming
but worth the effort.
You
can choose
the order in which your pages appear. You might
not want to put all of the available pages in
your book.*TIP Plan ahead before you print. The
amount of pages you use will determine your
binder size. There are many sizes available with
clear pocket covers in office or discount
stores..
BRADY
'S FRAMES has a small selection of picture frame
pages for you to print.Your pictures can be
placed directly on the page if they are cut to
fit the"white" area.Don't want to cut your
pictures?Cut out the "white"area and place
pictures behind the frames.Glue your frame
page to another srcapbook page for a finished
page.*TIP Use your decorative paper edgers,to
trim your frame page, before placing it on a
scrapbook page. This will show a printed border
around your frame page.
You
can
print pages from BRADY'S SCRAPBOOK section below,
for a scrapbook
effect.Make your own picture frames and place on
your printed background.*TIP Draw ovals,squares
and different little shapes and sizes for your
frames.Be sure to leave an opening for the
picture
on the top or side.*TIP Use decorative paper
cutters for pretty edges on frames and such. You
may even want to use them on your cover
page.Using your edgers,trim your cover page(only
1/8 to 1/4 of an inch). Choose a scrapbook page
to glue your now "decorative cut" cover on.This
is a nice layered effect. *TIP I've found that a
glue stick is much easier to
work with on this
project.
*TIP Put printed scrapbook pages between Brady's
Printables, for pictures, messages from family and
friends or
keepsakes. I put several extras in for cards the
baby will receive.Putting in a few blank
scrapbook pages allows Mom to use her own ideas
too.*TIP It's a nice touch,to write
your own personal message to Mother and Baby to
keep in
the book.*TIP Buy photo pocket refills and add
to your book for all those "First Year"
pictures.Youcan
create all types of pages, with a little
imagination.*TIP Decoupage little cardbard boxes
from your craft supply store, with some of the
scrapbook pages.Use them for gift boxes or baby's
keepsakes.Need more ideas?Check out our new
page"YOUR IDEAS".Got a great idea?....send it to
me. I hope you enjoy creating a keepsake
for someone special.
